The Prequel is Complete

Published by firefly at 9:42 pm under General

The first book, the Firefly in Japan Prequel is finished. I’m waiting to hear back from one last commenter who got an early release. Barring a suggestion to re-write the entire thing, I hope to have it uploaded within a few hours.

Love your stories! Let me know when you get your book uploaded (or where I can download it). Been following you since last year and I’m really glad you’re back. Found you when you hit Digg a while ago but I think you were on a .jp address.

    Myles,

    Thanks for your comments !

It’s uploaded. I hope you enjoy it.

Yeah, that .jp thing was a real pain in the ass. Oh well, life goes on. I can’t believe that some other bastard scooped up the domain. Oh well !

    Hi Firefly:

I’m an ass. I got pulled away on a work project and didn’t get my comments back to you. I understand how you took that year off. Look for my comments in your mail tomorrow.

Hey Bob, don’t worry about it. As you’ve correctly pointed out, I of all people know what it’s like to get busy. I hope you enjoyed the read!

I look forward to reading your comments.

same here, firefly. I had almost read the entire thing and then just before hitting “3 days to Japan” i got swamped with work and the entire thing kind of had to be put on pause.

Reading the final version now, though, I’d say that it’s frickin’ clean and a neat read.

What stumped me, however, was how you received the black belt after such an incredible short amount of time.

When I did JuJutsu in Germany, many years ago, I had to pass an incredible amount of tests and train for years and years (it must have been at least 6 or 7) until I was awarded with Kyu 1 (the brown belt). With that I was allowed to teach. I never made it to the 1st Dan and sadly I stopped when I left Germany.

Can’t quite wrap my head around how you got your 1st Dan just like that.

    Amazing. :)
