Who is Firefly?
Hi ! Welcome to my page.
I am an Australian living in Tokyo. I came here about 7 years ago to study martial arts.
I’ve been writing about my adventures in Japan.
I’ve been away for 1 year. Now I’m back.
I want to write more, and share more of my story.
I have a dream to publish my own book, so I’m going to be working on that. I’ll also be doing my best to share and blog about other parts of my Japan experience. I would be really grateful for your support on this. Here are things you can do to help :

Ouff. Firefly is back. I swear I started to see tumbleweed bouncing over the abandoned pages of your blog for a year, now. And all of a sudden the Sheriff is back in town! Nice clean-up of the site, mister. Now that you’re back, I have every reason in the world to procrastinate even more at work. Excellent!

By the way: Have you thought about a Paypal donation option? I’d rather use that.
Oh. Silly me. Looks like it is actually a Paypal donation option. But for some reason it won’t work. Returns an error that something with the certificate id is wrong.

Wow - thanks for pointing that out !! I almost missed that.
I tested it and it worked, but with all the work I was doing on the site, it looks like it lost some information.
